This weekend we hosted our very first event at the new house and it was a success. I threw a baby shower for my sister-in-law Kaitlyn. We had about 30 guests and I realized that our house has a really good set up for entertaining. The large island and open floor plan made it really easy for everyone to eat and socialize. The weather was terrible so we didn't get to open up for the front and back patio but there was still plenty of room inside. So ready to meet baby Trace!

Master Bedroom update
Our master bedroom has some pizzaz now and no longer looks like a hospital room. We added the striped rug, colorful pillows and the mantel display. Jordan doesn't understand why we have a mantel with no fireplace. I told him to just trust me.

Front Porch Love
We did a little shopping this weekend to cozy up our front porch. Shops visited were Mom's garage, Mom's backyard and Crooked Creek Farms. We also changed our house numbers from red to blue and they pop so much more now!
The Big Chair Reveal....
A few weeks ago I posted these lovely chairs that my aunt gave me from my granny Doherty. They finally came back from the upholster today and they are fab! I am so glad I took a risk and went with the bold pattern. Even Jordan likes them which says a lot!
